I have created my desired guestbook.
how can I now place this as part of my webpage?

I have my own webpage with side-bars and headers and everything else.

I have made a separate html page for guestbook and would now like to embedd the one I created using FPG.

You can use an iframe, se an example here: http://www.ma-design.net/spain/gastbok_en.php

If you use XHTML Strict you have to use object data, since iframe is not allowed.

Monica,

I still don't understand.
I'm an absolute newbie to this.

I have made the page guestbook.html with my homepage sidebar and headers using dreamweaver.

All I need now is to place the guestbook I have made into the body (just like the example you have shown me)

is there a code a write in my body to import the guestbook to the guest.html page?

Hi kayjen625,

Below you find my code:

<iframe src="your_domain.com/cgi-bin/fpg.cgi?lang=english" name="iframe" width="580px" marginwidth="10" height="650px" marginheight="10" frameborder="0" scrolling="auto" style="position:absolute; left:10px; top:150px">

You place this in the body section of your page. Replace your_domain.com with the proper domain, including http. Then you have to experiment with the values of width and hieght and position to fit your needs.

I hope this helps

Thank you monica~
it worked for me.

But a quick question.
As soon as I entered your part of the code I can now see the guestbook in my webpage but I have lost the sidebar and the footer.

within the body, I have the order of coding as Header, Contents, Sidebar, Header.
I placed the code inside the contents and everything is looks good except for the fact that the sidebar and the footer is not showing now.

I've looked through the code but couldn't seem to find the problem.

any ideas?

please have in mind that the site is not complete and thus only the index page link would work

I just saw one error that might cause the problem, you have forgot to close the iframe:
</iframe>

Please try to change the code to:
<iframe src="http://www.kay-jen.com/cgi-bin/fpg.cgi?lang=english" name="iframe" width="595px" height="650px" frameborder="0" scrolling="auto" ></iframe>

This is my fault, i forgot to include it in my previous post, sorry

I think this will fix your problem, if not please let me know.

/Monica

I forgot to mention...

I think your blog looks great. I had a quick look at the index page to see how the sidebar and footer looked like
