When will the next version (2.0) be released??? I check my control panel and it says no update avaliable, but your website says beta 2.0 ready for download and all the utilities for Ver 1.0 are gone from the list.

Hi! There are things to be done:

- new css-based designs (skins)
- the update function for the installer
- the integration of the tools (Batch-Script, Image-Recover and Thumb-Resizer)
- translation of the new language files
- the search function

It will takes some weeks because I'm now pretty busy. Please be patient ;-)

PS. The tools for version 1 also works with version 2.

Is 1.5 a peliminary or beta version? Will there be a 2.0 also coming soon? Does 1.5 allow easy upgrade from version 1.0?

Version 1.5 is NOT a beta. It has more functions and features than the 2.0 beta. Because the search function takes a lot of time, I'll continue programming it some months later. It's very easy to upgrade your album. Simply do the steps below:

- Rename your existing fpa.cgi to fpa.txt
- Upload all files and folders like at the first installation
- Run the installer. It will backup your existing files and folders before installing the new version.

After the installation is done, you'll see all albums and pictures like before. Only the skin is changed.

To undo the installation, you just have to delete the new files and rename the file fpa.txt back to fpa.cgi, rename the folder fpa_files_XXXX and fpa_public_XXXX back to fpa_files and fpa_public (XXXX = random numbers)
