Hello,

our FPA Album on www.pilotenclub-wien.at is receiving SPAM comments from robot-visitors.
Is there a way to prohibit user comments??

Thank you so much. Is there an intermediate solution, e.g. to comment a code-statement or delete the form field for the time being. I feel able to modify a perl page acc. to your instruction.

Are they using the same IP or a series of IP's? If so, just block access at the sever level for a quick fix.

Comments are sent from various sources. How can I block the traffic, as you suggested??

Or is it poss to set the length of the form field to zero?

This is not correct! Please do not delete the files - only the content!

The problem with spamming messages is solved. Please upgrade your album to 1.53 (available this weekend - May 15/16). You can take a look at the demo: www.vitinh.de/cgi-bin/demo/fpa.cgi

Before upgrading to 1.53, could you confirm that the upgrade methode as outlined in Forum post http://www.vitinh.de/forum/Forum15/HTML/000033.html

is still correct??
